About Trevor Boswell

Trevor's travels across the globe during his 30-year career as a catcher on the flying trapeze brought many a challenge in the field of rigging.

After winning the silver clown in Monte Carlo and being one of a handful of catchers in the world to catch the almost impossible quadruple and all the tricks in between, he retired from catching in 2003 and turned to his other love, mechanical engineering.

In the circus world he had become known for his original designs of indoor riggings and lighting systems and creating the world's first indoor fireworks simulator.

One of his personal favorites is a round platform that expanded to 3 tiers and rotated while 3 tigers were sitting on it.

In 2007 he was hired by Televisa, as a circus specialist , in a show called "Cinco Magnificos". It was a reality TV show based on circus arts .

Working closely with Executive producers, Ruben and Santiago Galindo, he designed many of the "rallies" and supervised the installation and safety of the aerial equipment used during the "live broadcast" in Mexico City.

The tallest tent (pictured below) in the world was used as the set for "Cinco Magnificos"

This was the back of the "tent city" in Cinco Magnificos. The other 2 tents were used for rehearsals.
The above video was taken in Paris in 2001, in the oldest circus building in the world , in a show called "Trapeze"....it was a dream to work there.

Trapezerigging.com was created to provide anyone with a "fantasy to fly" the connection to a first class rigging on which to fulfill those dreams.
